Our Vehicle Engineering team specialise in the design and manufacture of vehicle load beds across road, off-road and cross country military and specialist applications.
In recent years we have leveraged significant investment towards establishing the most modern design and production facilities alongside cutting edge production techniques that include robotic welding and e-dipping. Using these assets we engineer and supply load beds such as conventional low torsion systems in both standard and lightweight configurations through to state of the art zero torsion load beds and skeletal. These satisfy conditions where low load stress and optimal chassis performance are of critical importance.
Our capabilities cover both long term supply and Urgent Operational Requirements (UOR). The supply of 6,700 load beds for the UK MOD highlights our capability through the evaluation of over 700 load cases and crane and winch variants.
We are equally proud of our rapid UOR response capability evidenced through the short lead time design and manufacture of load beds for the UK Wolfhound programme. These vehicles are now operating in Afghanistan.
Despite a demanding timescale, our design and manufacture capabilities ensure the supply of the very latest in logistic support vehicles to meet programme, quality and cost requirements.
