Following the British Forces’ move from a Cold War emphasis to the uncertainties of the modern world, Marshall Specialist Vehicles has focused on providing a capability to rapidly deliver the design, manufacture and support of complex shelter based deployable systems.
Marshall Specialist Vehicles has been the prime contractor for the supply of mobile Field Hospitals, C4 ISTAR, Headquarters, Workshop and specialist Storage and Transportation facilities. Marshall Specialist Vehicles also deigns and integrates Ground Stations for Radars such as ASTOR, Battlefield Communications Systems such as Cormorant, Unmanned Air Vehicle programmes such as WATCHKEEPER and C4 ISTAR applications such as TARDIS.
A subsidary of Marshall Specialist Vehicles, MSV Norway, exists to support medical equipment supplied to Norway, service Marshall Specialist Vehicles' offset obligation and the Norwegian market.

Transport Systems
Marshall Specialist Vehicles has 17,000 square metres of specialist manufacturing and assembly space. With its sister organisation MSV has designed, manufactured and delivered DROPS Flat Racks which are currently in service with the British Army and DROPS Fuel Racks.
Medical Systems
Marshall Specialist Vehicles are experienced designers and suppliers of medical systems for military and emergency use. Four generations of wheeled cross country ambulances for the British Army have formed the basis of Marshall Specialist Vehicles’ medical experience. Offering a wide range of medical solutions ranging from stretcher systems to full scale Role 3 deployable field hospitals, Marshall Specialist Vehicles demonstrate a high aptitude across the medical evacuation chain. With vast experience in this area Marshall Specialist Vehicles has become recognised as a market leader and internationally acknowledged for exceptional innovation and speed of delivery.
Marshall Specialist Vehicles offers medical systems to organisations across the world. These are applicable and appropriate to their needs, from new solutions to upgrades and refurbishment. They can be fully containerised or a mixture of containers and tentage.

Ambulance and Stretcher Loading Systems
Marshall Specialist Vehicles is internationally recognised for supplying ambulance and stretcher loading systems to over 30 military organisations world-wide. Marshall Specialist Vehicles has manufactured over 4,000 ambulance and stretcher recovery units onto Land Rover vehicles alone. Other ambulance systems including the Boxer AFV ambulance have Marshall Specialist Vehicles automated stretcher recovery systems. Marshall Specialist Vehicles' vast experience in this area enables them to make the best use of space and equipment in a package that is best for the medic and patient.
Hospital Systems
Role 1 Systems are for use in front line operations or on small maritime platforms. The MSV Role 1 Hospital is rapidly deployable and is operational within 30 minutes from arrival at site.
Role 2 Systems are more sophisticated medical facilities capable of carrying out full diagnostic and surgical activity. Full laboratory, X-Ray and surgical facilities along with nursing and support capabilities are included. A Role 2 hospital can start surgery on patients within 30 minutes of arrival.
Both the treatment and support units are housed in ISO 20 ft containers, which allow intermodal transport including by C 130 Aircraft. Full intermodal loading, including hook loading, capability is provided.

CT Scanner
The MSV CT scanner unit is the first of its kind integrated into a military transport system that can be used within the container; a lead lined Marshall MATRIX 3:1, 6 metre ISO rigid expandable shelter. It provides medical staff and patients with a safe, clean environment in which to record and analyse CT images. The Marshall SV CT Scanner is designed for use as either a stand alone unit or integrated into a field hospital.

Matrix Expandable Systems
Marshall Specialist Vehicles has recurrently developed the Matrix Shelter product over many years of operational service with the Armed Forces around the world. The Marshall Matrix Shelter is designed and qualified to International Military specifications including UK Def Stan, US Mil Standard and NATO 6516/SHCPE standards. The Marshall Matrix Expandable Shelter provides a qualified, standard shelter that is capable of rapid deployment and transport by road, rail, sea and air.
