We are currently seeking a Buyer at our Marshall Specialist Vehicles site in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will negotiate, procure and manage goods, services and minor sub contracts as well as participate in the supplier review, selection, assessment and performance monitoring process. Whilst supporting the business, attending team/project meeting as required you will ensure that products and services are procured to give the best time, cost and quality performance.

You will have sound knowledge of contract management, including terms and conditions, as well as of the procurement process. An understanding of engineering drawings and knowledge of engineering specification is essential.

Candidates will preferably be a member of the Charted Institute of Purchasing and Supply or will be working towards membership.
